Jack Hamlin - Oil and Gas Awards - Future Industry Leader

Jack Hamlin – President

Jack Hamlin is a co-owner of Summit Engineering Services, Inc. He has over 17 years of business management experience, 11 years of oil & gas experience, and is responsible for day-to-day operations including providing visionary and strategic leadership for the organization. Recent experience includes oversight of operational health and client satisfaction for an oil & gas engineering firm within the Rocky Mountain region. Focus areas include the DJ,, Eagle Ford, Powder River, Piceance, San Juan, Uinta and Permian Basins. Mr. Hamlin is responsible for driving team budgets, P&L, and corporate strategic initiatives such as client diversification and margin enhancement ensuring compliance to financial production goals on an annual, quarterly and monthly basis. Jack is a current member of the Gas Processor’s Association, North Dakota Petroleum Council, Permian Basin Petroleum Association, and on the Board of Directors for the Rocky Mountain Pipeliners Association.


Keith Martin – Co-Owner

Keith Martin is a co-owner of Summit Engineering Services, Inc. Over 30 years of engineering and design experience in various aspects of engineering for petro-chemical, nuclear, water treatment, military, airport and commercial facilities. Keith is presently serving as the electrical engineering project manager for a large crude oil pipeline system electrical upgrade. Keith’s experience has included designs in power distribution, emergency power, instrumentation and controls. This experience has included engineering supervision, construction support, start-up, construction management, project management and equipment troubleshooting.


Jeff Carter, PE – Co-Owner

Jeff Carter is a co-owner of Summit Engineering Services, Inc. He is a commissioning manager and Sr. Process Engineer with over 30 years of experience in the design, start-up and operations of large, complex gas treating and renewable energy facilities, both domestically and internationally.
Jeff was most recently the commissioning manager the nation’s largest helium plant (a 600 MMcf/d gas processing plant located in southwest Kansas).
He has been the commissioning manager at a large pipeline in Texas, including an 800 mile 175,000 barrels per day Bbls/d NGL pipeline, and portions of a 720-mile 200,000 Bbls/d NGL pipeline. He was also the engineering design manager / lead process–mechanical discipline lead for a recent 125 MMcf/d NGL plant design and construction project located in Weld County, Colorado.

Greg Campbell, VP of Engineering

Directly responsible for all engineering and projects services, including the creation and implementation of standards and procedures for the company, and managing personnel. Greg has 13 years of experience in Project Management, Engineering, and Construction for multiple projects including pipelines, upstream, and midstream facilities throughout the US, Canada and in the Middle East. Greg has been directly responsible for multiple projects ranging from fast/lean projects ($50K, 1-2 months) to complex large projects (~$1 Billion, 3+ years). Greg has received extensive management training in Germany and in the U.S.

April Schroer

April Schroer, PE, PMP - Process Engineering Manager

20 years of engineering, design and construction experience in the Oil & Gas Industry: upstream (production of crude oil / natural gas) and midstream/downstream (gathering, processing/refining, oil and gas transmission, and oil terminals). Passionate and results driven with a strong safety mindset.

Sujatha Hedrick, PE

Sujatha Hedrick, PE – Civil/Structural Department Manager

Su is a licensed Professional Engineer in five states with over 10 years of experience from initial design to construction completion in the O&G, Mining, and Power industries.

Vince Bowles

Vince Bowles, PE - E I&C Department Manager

Vince is a licensed Professional Engineer in six states with 15 years experience from initial design to construction completion in the O&G, mining, and elevator industries.

Michael Grey

Michael Gray, EIT  - Mechanical Department Manager

Michael has 4 years of Design, Engineering & Commissioning experience in the Oil & Gas Industry. His attention to detail and passion for field experience has allowed for rapid growth within the industry. Most recently, Michael has been seconded working directly with several clients as a Facilities Engineer, assisting with Operability and Technical improvements of all Gas Processing Facilities.
